The work

Adam Howell · DopeCoin & SuperDoge.

These are the two projects people ask about most. Here is the straight version of both, with the dates, the coverage, and links so you can check it yourself.

2014 to present

DopeCoin

I made DopeCoin in 2014. It was one of the first meme coins, and the 103rd coin ever listed on CoinMarketCap. That was years before meme coins were something everyone had heard of.

It ran through several market cycles. The whole history is still public, including a community thread that runs past 450 pages.

I wrote the full DopeCoin story, with sources, on Medium.

Launch

DopeCoin goes live as one of the earliest culturally themed cryptocurrencies. The history is preserved in a 450-plus page announcement thread on BitcoinTalk.

2014 to 2015

National press

Covered by the Huffington Post, Business Insider, Fox Business, BuzzFeed News and others. I spoke to several of them as the creator, "Dopey".

2017

A payment gateway, not just a coin

I launched Crypto Billings alongside it, a real payment product, which TheStreet noted set DopeCoin apart from coins that never shipped anything.

Still listed

On the record

DopeCoin remains documented on data platforms including Coinbase, which credits Adam Howell as its creator.

2021 to present

SuperDoge

I founded SuperDoge in 2021 and ran it. The public face was a creative team and a cartoon superhero, which was the whole idea, but the project was mine.

It was built to do one thing well: send real money to charity automatically, on every single trade. Two percent of every transaction goes straight to vetted charities through the smart contract. No middleman, no promises, just code.

The original SuperDoge website is preserved in the Wayback Machine.

SuperDoge · 2021

Apr 2021

A viral launch

SuperDoge hits a $13M market cap within 48 hours. The community grows past 3,000 holders who vote every three months on which charities to support.

May 2021

Bloomberg and CNBC

SuperDoge lands in a Bloomberg feature and in CNBC's Kelly Evans column, which mentions a friend's charity already receiving tens of thousands of dollars through it.

Ongoing

Audited and locked

The contract is CertiK audited. 100% of the liquidity is held in a non-custodial time-lock contract until 1 January 2100. Nobody can pull the liquidity, founders included, and you can read the lock on-chain yourself. The charity wallets are hard coded into the verified contract on BscScan.

$150,000+ of it in the first 72 hours alone.

This is the part I am proudest of. Every donation was automatic and public, paid straight to the charities by the smart contract. Here are some of them saying it themselves.

Named as the donor, in writing

What the charities wrote back.

Two of the charity leaders wrote to thank me directly, by name. I have removed their personal contact details out of respect for their privacy. Every word is theirs.

On-chain · audit it yourself

Every donation is on the blockchain.

Two percent of every SuperDoge transaction goes straight to these charity wallets through the smart contract. They are named in the verified contract source. Open any of them on BscScan and read every transfer for yourself.
